Kevin Hart and fiancé Eniko Parrish are set to marry next week, the 37-year-old actor-comedian revealed to The Insider.
“August 8, I’m tying the knot,” he casually stated. However, the couple has not revealed where the wedding will be held or how big it will be.
The Central Intelligence actor was previously married to Torrei Hart until they split in 2011. He subsequently met Parrish and had discussed the possibility of settling down with her. Hart even jokingly said he was ready to “lock this love up in a box.”
“That’s right ladies. I’ve got to put this chocolate in the freezer. So if you wanted a piece, you better take that want and put it in your pocket, because you ain’t gonna get it, because it’s happening. I’m going to lock this love up in a box.”
The star also admitted he’s not big on planning, leaving that type of work to his fiancé as a result. He has, however, kept a watchful eye on the wedding budget.
“To be honest with you, I don’t know what the hell is going on. I told her, ‘Do what you want to do, and just come back to me with a finished product.’ She has a number, if she goes above this number it’s not happening. That’s all I did, I gave her a budget,” he explained.
The comedian made the announcement about his proposal via Instagram, having popped the question on Parrish’ 30th birthday. He posted an image of the two as she happily displayed an engagement ring.
