Corey Feldman broke down following a psychic reading with Hollywood Medium’s Tyler Henry after connecting with the late Corey Haim. The child star, who was close friends with Feldman, died in 2010 at age 38.
Henry told Feldman that he feels the late actor’s story is not yet completely done. This prompted the 45-year-old star to get increasingly emotional and wipe away his tears.
Feldman had previously revealed that Haim was raped by a Hollywood figure at age 11. The actor claims that his drug and alcohol abuse, which were consistent until his death, were a result of the ensuing trauma.
“He had more direct abuse than I did. With me, there were some molestations and it did come from several hands, so to speak, but with Corey, his was direct rape, whereas mine was not actual rape.
And his also occurred when he was 11. My son is 11 now and I can’t even begin to fathom the idea of something like that happening to him. It would destroy his whole being,” Feldman explained to The Hollywood Reporter.
He went on to say that many people in Hollywood knew about the abuse but did very little about it.
“This person uses intimidation and threats as a way to keep people quiet. And all these men were all friends.
Ask anybody in our group of kids at that time: They were passing us back and forth to each other. [Alison Arngrim] from ‘Little House on the Prairie’ said [in an interview], ‘Everybody knew that the two Coreys were just being passed around.’”
The star, however, refuses to name any suspects due to legal concerns.
