Margot Robbie recently revealed to Extra that she is too busy to think about marriage despite being fully committed to boyfriend Tom Ackerley.
The Suicide Squad actress considers Ackerley “the most handsome guy in the world,” but insists that her busy schedule has kept her from settling down and starting a family.
When asked about a possible engagement, she said: “I can’t even get a day off at the moment so that’s stuff’s gonna have to wait.”
She then proceeded to compliment Ackerley’s looks, adding: “I may be biased but I think he’s the most handsome guy in the world.”
The 26-year-old star met the assistant director on the set of Suite Francaise in 2013 and the two were an instant match.
Robbie had previously talked about the way she felt about relationships prior to meeting him: “[Before we met] I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long.
I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.'”
Although she is a frequent traveler, the actress would like to move back to Australia if she was to start a family someday. Likewise, Ackerley says he would have no trouble relocating if necessary.
She added: “He loves Australia. He’s like, ‘I don’t know why anyone leaves Australia!'”
