‘Mad Max Fury Road’ total worldwide box-office collections and review

Hollywood action packed thriller “Mad Max Fury Road” which is based on a Post-Apocalyptic World was released on May 15, 2015 in US and across the world.

“Fury Road” has been produced by Warner Brothers and shot in Nambia.

The film has been released in 2D, 3D, 4D and 3D IMAX in a total of 68 markets in over 16,000 screens worldwide today. “Fury Road” was released in about 200 IMAX screens and 300 4D screens internationally.

The movie has got positive reviews from most of the areas by scoring big over the other release “Pitch Perfect 2” this weekend.

“Mad Max Fury Road” is picking up good and it is expected to close the weekend with a box-office collection of $44 million at home turf

“Mad Max” has a cult following and is a typical indie movie with vast desert landscape. “Fury Road” follows the Mad Max franchisee and is fourth movie in the franchisee spanning from 1979 to 1985.

“Mad Max Fury Road” is a self-contained movie and you need not have to follow the franchise to know about the movie.

During the first 5 minutes the narration runs you over the course of the movie. The movie is high in action and has all the guns blazing and the superbly filmed graphics scene.

“Fury Road’s” story revolves around Imposter Furosia’s escape from the clutches of tyrannical Immortan Joe (played by Hughes Keays-Byrne). Her escape from Joe led her following a path which is intertwined by road taken by Max.

In a world where everything is wasteland, fuel is hard to come by, feudal lords, the two have to overcome their hatred for each other and work towards their survival. “Fury Road” has all the elements of a superb writing, crisp screenplay and high on emotional rollercoaster ride.

The movie is backed by a big budget marketing campaign. High action-packed trailer has kept the hype about the movie high.

Made with a Production budget of $150 million the movie has got positive reviews and response from the audience. The movie has been directed, produced and directed by George Miller.

“Mad Max Fury Road” is the fourth movie in the Mad Max franchisee. Fury Road stars Tom Hardy as the protagonist Max Rockatanski.

This movie came after a long wait of 30 years since the release of last Mad Max movie and the first movie not starring Mel Gibson. The film also stars Charlize Theron as Furiosa and Nicholas Hoult as Nux.

George Miller put the crew of the movie through a grueling schedule and all the stunts of the movie are shot in real time. Use of CGI is very limited in the movie. This adds to the appeal of scenes and they look more original.

It has been widely accepted in international markets as well. The occupancy rates is as high as 50% and it is expected that the movie should be able to Gross as high as $85 million from the overseas market.
