Fifty Shades of Grey premieres in Berlin With London next as the fire department issues a warning

After months of anticipation Fifty Shades of Grey lived up to the hype on its big day during this year’s Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin. Jamie Dornan could not fail to dazzle on the big day on the red carpet with his arms round Dakota Johnson, as well as director Sam Taylor Johnson.

The script was written, and the trio were joined on the red carpet with author E.L James and husband Niall Leonard. All eyes were on Sam on the red carpet where she was met with husband 24-year-old Aaron Taylor-Johnson on a tailored navy tuxedo. Sam dazzled the big night with a backless gown that made most of her slim figure.

Fifty Shades of Grey has turned out to be a global masterpiece. Translated in over 50 languages as more and more people make arrangements to have a glimpse of a film that has got the whole world talking about.

The popularity of the film has also come with its fair share of criticism with Malaysia banning it and the Motion Picture Association Giving it an ‘R’ rating meaning it is not suitable for people under the age of 17. France, on the other hand, has given the film a rating of 12 meaning that children under the age of 12 should not watch it

Despite the steamy sexy scenes, actress Dakota Johnson who plays Anastasia Steele in the movie says it was like being in Harry Porter reiterating she did not find it hard to be on the sets. The film Fifty Shades of Grey is based on a popular 2011 erotic novel that has come to be associated with explicit bondage, as well as dominance and BDSM Sequences.

The premiere of the film now shifts to London where the city’s fire brigade has already issued a series of warnings about people getting caught in compromising situations as people try to recreate some of the films steamy positions.

The service reportedly has had to respond to a number of incidents where people get stuck in embracing positions since the book was released in 2011. The fire department says it dealt with up to 472 cases of people getting trapped in household items in 2013/2014. The brigade has already taken to twitter to highlight some of the sticky situations in a bid of getting the attention of the vulnerable.
