Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 5.0 Lollipop Firmware Update is on The Horizon

Android 5.0 Lollipop has been out a while, but not every smartphone that are capable of getting the update have gotten it. One device, in particular, is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and from what we’ve come to understand, the update is ready and waiting.

A new report claims Samsung has released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in Russia though it is only limited to one particular variant of the Galaxy Note 3. It means that shortly, Samsung will push the update for a wider release in several markets. We say this because the company performed a similar move back in late 2014.

The Korean giant released the update for variants of the Galaxy S5 in Russia, Poland and Malaysia. After the successful launch, the update was then later released on a wider scale around the world. Galaxy Note 3 users outside of Russia should hold tight because the update is just right around the corner.

With Samsung finally gearing up to release Android 5.0 Lollipop on the Galaxy Note 3 and other devices, critics who believed the company would delay the update until after the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Edge, will not have to be silent.

It is very much clear that this is not the case because Samsung is a company that doesn’t have to play silly games to entice smartphone fans to purchase new hardware

When it comes down to the update itself, many have said it doesn’t bring much of a change to Android when compared to others. Not to mention, the update launched with several bugs, which is one of the reasons it has taken some hardware manufacturer so long to release it to their fan-base.

At the moment, we don’t have an exact date for the release, but we can say without a doubt that it is close.
