Sri Lanka vs England 3rd ODI: Cricket live streaming info and highlights

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first in the 3rd DI against England being played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota on Wednesday, Dec 3, 2014.

When last reports came in, Sri Lanka lost its opener MDKJ Perera when the score was just 6 runs on the board.

Heavy rain stopped play after just two overs were bowled. And now the good news is that the rain has completely stopped and the covers are being taken off.

On the current situation of the ground, Cricinfo writes, “There is plenty of water around the edges of the ground so a lot of damp patches will be on the outfield – it may take some time for the outfield to dry up and as it’s later in the day the sunshine has disappeared so it’s not perfect drying conditions either.

“But we’re hopeful and have plenty of time still to get going today, and of course, we have the reserve day tomorrow to try and finish the game too.”

The teams are as below:

Sri Lanka
: Dilshan, Kusal, Kandamby, T Perera, J Mendis, Prasad, Herath,Sangakkara, Thirimanne, Mathews, A Mendis.
