CLT20 live streaming online and score: Mumbai Indians vs Lahore Lions fight to qualify

Mumbai Indians today face a stern challenge in the early stages of the 2014 edition of the Champions League T20. With the team ready for their final qualifying match against the Northern Knights, the match will prove to be the decider match for Kieron Pollard and his boys.

It would be the match for Lahore Lions that would be taking place first as they take on Southern Express starting at 4:00 PM local time today.

The final match of qualifiers would be followed at 8:00 PM local time with Mumbai Indians taking on the Northern Knights. Both the matches would be played out at the same venue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

Things would have taken a different turn if they had won their opening match in the competition. But a defeat against the Lahore Lions has slightly narrowed the path of Mumbai Indians though being placed at the number two spot among the qualifying teams.

Mumbai Indians would have to fight it out as they face a more formidable Northern Knights line up. Be it a win or loss, Northern Knights have already bagged their pass to the group stages with two wins.

It is Mumbai Indians and Lahore Lions that share an equal number of one win each. Though failing to deliver in the first two matches, there is a narrow chance for Southern Express too, but that looks miles way as they would have to put up an astounding performance so as to match-up the run rate.

CLT20 live score:

While Lahore Lions could be called the favorites in their game against Southern Express, nothing can be predicted at this stage. Mumbai Indians would be proud of their batting skills, but some worries have sure risen with regard to their bowling department. Lasith Malinga, Harbhajan Singh and the rest still fail to pose a threat.

It would only be fair to say the last two qualifier matches entirely would be the ones deciding the qualifying  team among Mumbai Indians and Lahore Lions.

If it happens to be a win for both the teams, the run-rate factor would come into play, and that might give Mumbai Indians the upper hand.
