Taylor Swift was reportedly “furious” with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris during this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony. The DJ refused to accompany the singer and instead stayed behind working in the studio.
A source explained that the Blank Space hitmaker was left feeling letdown by his lack of attention.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Taylor was furious and hated the way he never wanted to attend award shows and big music industry events with her. It was a Sunday night in LA and she felt he could have slipped away for a couple of hours to be with her.”
Other sources have said that the chart-topping artist was already talking to Tom Hiddleston while the DJ was hospitalized following a car crash, suggesting possible cheating involved.
Harris spent some time at the hospital treating his injuries back in May, prompting Swift to visit him the following day. However, she had only spent one day with the then-boyfriend despite the seriousness of such injuries.
A source explained: “Taylor’s true colours are coming out. The truth is she met Tom in February and things are moving very quickly. She had vacated her relationship with Calvin way before she let on.”
Meanwhile, some fans have accused the former couple of orchestrating this very public breakup as a publicity stunt to advance their career. However, the Thor actor has strongly denied such allegations.
“The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together and we’re very happy,” he stated in her defense.
Harris has since been quite vocal about not dating celebrities and also released a new song that suggests Swift had cheated on him.
