Upon entering nine years of their civil partnership, Sir Elton John and David Furnish have officially tied the knot. The marriage event was also ‘aired live’ on the Instagram account with live pictures being posted throughout.
The wedding ceremony was attended by celebrities, friends, family and Zachary and Elijah, their sons.
Starting with the picture of the couple getting prepared for the official document signing, the pictures kept on being fed in their Instagram account with a hashtag #sharethelove.
The pictures involved the two pledging their vows and a picture of the 23-months-old Elijah standing in between the two dads, which was clicked by the three year old Zachary.
The couple entered into a civil relationship back in 2005 and has turned their relation into a marriage after the new laws that allow same-sex marriages got implemented earlier this year in England.
Sir Elton has revealed of his plans earlier this week and has earlier praised the countries move in enacting the homosexual marriage Act.
The celebration event was at Windsor Castle west of London, which was a glittering occasion with the presence of noted celebrities and persons.
The wedding event was attended by some A-list members like Ed Sheeran David Walliams, Liz Hurley, David Beckham and many more, with millions taking up their social media accounts to bless the new ride of the couple.
