Huawei Honor 6 Plus making its way to UK on May 1

Huawei Honor 6 Plus will be making its way to UK via Three UK – one of the largest cellular networks in UK will be exclusively carrying it and it will be available in all their stores starting May 1. Also the option to pre-order the smartphone is available as well. Interested consumers can head over to Amazon UK on April 6  and pre-order the smartphone. The device costs £299.99 without a contract, which is actually a fair deal because of the features this smartphone offers.

Huawei Honor 6 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a HiSilicon Kirin 925 SoC Octa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, a unique camera with dual 8 MP units, combining to capture 13 MP images, also it has a front 8MP camera as well so a user can take HD selfie. Other than that it features a 32GB of internal storage, dual-SIM support, Cat.6 LTE connectivity, and a 3,600 mAh battery. The only drawback would be that it is running on Android 4.4 KitKat, which might be considered as an old version of Android by a lot of people.

Huawei is one of the strongest Chinese brands in the world, and smartphones are actually not their expertise, but their recent additions to their smartphone line has proven that they are no less then other Android OEMs. Of course, they don’t have the same status as Samsung or HTC, but the way they are gaining and making entry in to other international markets, there is a chance in near future that they might turn out to be a threat for huge Android OEMs. The biggest advantage Huawei has is that their devices are relatively cheaper than other Android smartphones, and it is not because the phone has outdated specs. It seems Huawei motto is “strong from the inside, easy on the pockets”.
