At first, it seemed Stout was doing everything right gaining the advantage against Person with a series of speedy movement to dart in and out. But Pearson seems to have had other ideas for the day at the Dallas night event.

Known as ‘The Real Deal’ Pearson finally came through interrupting one of Stout’s exchanges with a huge left hook to the jaw that downed his opponent. The win marked Pearson’s a Sunderland native the second win in as many as four fights with one of the losses considered a robbery against Diego Sanchez.

Some of the other big winners were Henry Cejudo against Chris Cariaso and Beneil Darisuh walking sky high on submission against Daron Cruickshank. Germaine de Randamie also defeated Larisa Pacheco on a technical knockout with Joseph Duffy initiating the same fate on Jake Lindsey in round 1.
