One Plus One ties knot with Amazon for online sale

In an effort to raise their hold on global premises, smartphone vendors are holding an intense aching for the Indian markets.

Following the likes of Xiaomi, Motorola etc, Chinese manufacturers One Plus is the latest to stretch out its hands to Indian markets with the new One Plus One smartphone.

The hype has been piling for quite a long time and as nearing the date they have been anticipating, One Plus joins their hands with ecommerce platform Amazon as their online sales partner in India.

The device is now listed on Amazon websites for users to hold a grab through the invite method. Buy on Amazon here.

Users eyeing for the One Plus One smartphone must have their names registered for being handed with an invite. Contests and events organized by One Plus and Amazon would have to be followed and entered by users so as to get the access for the link to register for the sales.

One Plus would be following the lineage of its competitors like Xiaomi, Huawei etc in providing high-end specs at affordable price. The device is packed with all the flagship features like Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3 GB RAM, Full HD display, 13 MP camera and even offers 16 GB and 64 GB variants.

 

One Plus One would be running the Cyanogen Mod 11 S, the heavily customized Android OS

One Plus One has been revealed to commence its Indian sales on December 2nd. However the pricing for the flagship phone is yet to be disclosed and is expected to fall somewhere in the 20K range.

The company is eyeing to bolster its Indian account by setting up localized service facilities, the first for the company outside of its home. A unit has also been dedicated for the works of One Plus in India which is been led by General Manager Vikas Agarwal.
