Apple Watch is one of the best inventions this year for Time Magazine

The keynote speech from Apple this year has evoked exciting response. Although it’s yet to make sales debut, the Apple Watch has attracted praise from all the corners for its novel features.

And now it’s named among the best inventions of the year by Time Magazine.

Time has revealed its list of 25 best inventions for 2014  and with much fanfare, Apple Watch had made it to the list along with Blackphone and Surface 3 Pro from the mobile and computing world.

The Apple product finds it space for shrinking down the cell phone experience to smart watches that prove to be of great convenience unlike other watches that ended with some “clunky results”.

Time praises its interface for combining physical buttons with touchscreen to send messages, give directions, track fitness and make wireless payments besides the basic task of displaying time.

It also lauds the sense of fashion that has been put up on the device by highlighting the 18-karat gold edition Apple Watch, which is to cost over $5000.

It may not hit the market until early 2015, but Apple Watch promises to live up to expectations. The pick of the device is its Wireless payment technology, coined as Apple Pay, which is being billed as an innovative revolution in the field of money transaction.

The watch has been priced for $350 and up for various editions.
