Charles Manson, better known as the ‘American Mass Murderer’ who shook the country in the late 1960s is now granted license to marry a 26 old girl.
The murderer is aged 80, and this girl used to visit him in the jail in a regular manner. The girl has sent the past nine years with the murderer and has tried to exonerate him.
The young woman hails from Illinois, and her name is Afton Burton. She now lives in Corcoran, a small City in California which is home to Corcoran State Prison. Charles Manson is living in this prison for the past 25 years.
The companionship between Manson and Afton is quite strange. The young lady used to talk with the murderer on almost all days, and she used to visit the prison on weekends.
The couple will be given 90 days to materialize the wedding license. In all probabilities, they will get married in one of the coming weekends. 10 guests outside the jail can participate in the function along with an officiant.
The State Prison has not granted physical contact between the couples. They will be allowed to hug each other before and after the function.
Charles Manson was a musician who was accused of murder in 1969 for killing seven people. The list of killed people includes the renowned actor Sharon Tate and her family members. The murder created much stir in the nation, and finally in 1971, Manson was declared as the culprit.
