Delhi Exit Polls 2014: Thumping majority for BJP predicts ABP News-Nielsen

An opinion poll conducted by ABP News-Nielsen has predicted the triumph of Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming legislative elections.

As per the poll, Aam Aadmi Party will bag the second position, where as Indian National Congress will literally vanish into thin air.

ABP News-Nielsen poll confirms that the so called Narendra Modi wave will create impacts in this legislative elections as well. BJP will get 46 seats in the 70 member Delhi Assembly, and they will be followed by Aam Aadmi with 18 seats.

The state of Indian National Congress will be very pathetic than never before, and they will only get 5 seats in the assembly.

Earlier, in 2013 elections, BJP had won 32 seats, and Aam Aadmi fetched 28, and this helped Aravind Kejriwal to take charge as the Chief Minister of the National Capital.

As per the opinion poll, the vote share of BJP, Aam Aadmi and Congress will be, 32%, 28% and 22% respectively. The surprising fact is regarding Aravind Kejriwal’s popularity for the chief minister candidature.

39% of the people supported Kejriwal to become the Chief Minister while BJP’s Harsh Vardhan got 38% of the support. 7% of the people favored Shiela Diskhit as the CM.

Narendra Modi, the Indian Prime minister remained as the most popular leader in the Capital City with a share of 63%. Kejriwal became second with 25% while Rahul Gandhi lagged in the back end with a support of 12%.
