There is some good news for the GATE 2015 Aspirants, as the last date for application and payments for Gate 2015 has been extended to October 20, 2014.
The official website of GATE has mentioned that the last date for registration and payments has been increased.

The Graduate Aptitude Test examination or GATE is conducted twice in the year and is aimed to select students for undergraduate subjects related to science and engineering.
This is the second time that date for GATE 2014 has been increased. Earlier, the date was fixed to October 1, 2014, but the official committee chose to extend the same to October 14. Now, finally students have the time till October 20 to complete registrations.
Students can use their enrollment ID for completing the application and payments, and the payments will be accepted only till 11:55 PM on October 20, 2014.
Eligible candidates who have not completed their application process or need to rectify the application can also do the same.
The applications are to be filled via GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS), where all the further formalities are mentioned. The whole process of application can only be completed online and no hard copies of documents, applications and certificates will be entertained.
To apply, students can trail the following steps
General category and Other Backward Classes are required to pay a total fee of Rs. 1500 for application, while females need to pay Rs 750. This is a non-refundable free.
