CSK vs KKR CLT20 final live: Star Sports live streaming info & highlights

With familiarity to the conditions, Chennai Super Kings will look ahead to snatch the Champions League T20 title as they play against the triumphant Kolkata Knight Riders on October 4, 2014.

The match starts at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore at 7 p.m. India time.

The CLT20 final hold same importance for both teams that met in the final of the IPL 2012, where KKR emerged victorious. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings boast of a side that is worthy of destructing any bowling attack.

KKR entered the semifinals by defeating the Hobart Hurricanes, while CSK had a thrilling win against KXIP to seal the final berth.

As far as the familiarity factor is concerned, CSK has an edge.

Chennai win the toss and bowl first.

The squads are:

Chennai Super Kings: DR Smith, BB McCullum, SK Raina, F du Plessis, DJ Bravo, MS Dhoni, RA Jadeja, R Ashwin, P Negi, MM Sharma and A Nehra.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Robin Uthappa, Gautam Gambhir, JH Kallis, MK Pandey, YK Pathan, RN ten Doeschate, SA Yadav, AD Russell, PJ Cummins, PP Chawla and Kuldeep Yadav.

The final for CLT20 will be live on Star Sports in India and PTV sports in Pakistan.Star Cricket will offer live telecast in Maldives, Hong Kong, Singapore, Nepal, and South East Asia.

Apart from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the team also has Suresh Raina, who can do things with the bat as needed.

For the KKR, the bad news start with the ban on Sunil Narine, who will miss the final for suspected bowling action. Keeping the CSK side in mind, the bowling squad of skipper Gautam Gambhir will be reeling under pressure.

While the likes of Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey and Jacques Kallis will have some boost in the batting, one cannot avoid but doubt on the strategy that the team will adopt with the explosive CSK lineup in mind.

Quite obviously, Yusuf Pathan, Ryan ten Doeschate and Andre Russel have some real pressure to deal with.

Surely, this is one final that will show how KKR can perform without their star bowler, and how CSK can take things to their side on a ground known to them.
