The second fixture of Champions League Twenty 20 will see Hobart Hurricanes locking horns with Kings XI Punjab at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali on September 18, 2014.

KXIP comes from their loss in the IPL 2014 finals to Kolkata Knight Riders, despite being in form. This time in CLT20, they will be looking to take the cup, and the first match at home should help them gain the momentum.

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to field:

The Hobart Hurricanes won the BBL03 title earlier this year, and for them, the records are inspiring. Both New South Wales Blues and Sydney Sixers have won the tournament earlier.

Kings XI Punjab has some serious hopes pinned on Glenn Maxwell, who had an amazing strike rate all through the IPL. With David Miller by his side, he can be quite destructive and unpredictable.

The team also gets much support from Virender Sehwag, who works for the team with oozing confidence when needed.

Fans can watch the match live on Star Sports in India and on Star Cricket in regions like Singapore, Nepal, Maldives, Hong Kong, and South East Asia. The match goes live on PTV sports/Ten Sports in Pakistan.

In terms of team changes, KXIP will have to go ahead with the match sans Mitchell Johnson, who went back home due to an injury to the ribs. This certainly puts in more pressure on others like Akshar Patel, Lakshmipathy Balaji, and Parvinder Awana.

As for Hobart Hurricanes, bowling remains their strength and they will look forward to Doug Bollinger, Ben Hilfenhaus, Ben Laughlin and Xavier Doherty for some magic.

Some of their players, including Hilfenhaus and Bollinger, have done well at the international level, and therefore, KXIP has some worries for sure.

Their batting works best with skipper Tim Paine, opener Ben Dunk and Travis Birt in form, but they can also lean much on Aiden Blizzard and Shoaib Malik, thanks to their experience.

It promises to be an exciting play at Mohali.
