And finally, after lots of surprises in the league rounds, the final line up for Women’s quarter finals in the US Open 2014 are set. This time, the one and only American who made it to the final eight is none other than Serina Williams.

She advanced to her first Grand Slam quarter finals in 2014 by defeating Kaia Kanepi 6-3, 6-3. In the quarter finals, she will face 11th seed Flavia Pennetta on 3rd September 2014, 07.00 PM (EST) in the Arther Ashe Stadium.
