Jaipur Pink Panthers, the Kabaddi team owned by Bollywood Superstar Abhishek Bachan came out with flying colors in the Pro Kabaddi League tournament as they defeated the U Mumba team in a fairly good margin on Sunday.
In front of a packed house at the NSCI’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium, the daring panthers of Jaipur defeated the opposition team after a tough battle and the final score was 35 – 24.
After the win, the actor along with his wife Aiswarya Rai Bachan celebrated the moments in style, and they together congratulated the team members for putting up a remarkable performance.
Earlier, on Sunday morning, Abhishek Bachan and Aiswarya Rai visited the famous Lalbaughcha Raja temple.
Jaipur Pink Panthers did a decent job on field, and their hardwork was quite evident in all their moves. Maninder Singh, the trusted Jaipur raider was the king pin behind the win, and he portrayed a scintillating performance by earning seven points for his team.
The first half of the match was quite tight, and both the teams put up a neck to neck battle. But in the second half, Jaipur Pink Pathers showed their real face, and they teared down U Mumba in spanking passion.
The involvement of Bollywood stars in the Pro Kabaddi League is expected to bring that extra glamour quotient to the tournament. The second season is scheduled to begin in March 2015, and by this time, the tournament will be quite big and mightier than you could imagine.
