Malayalam film “Peruchazhi” starring Mohanlal has released across screens in India and world on August 29, 2014.
“Peruchazhi” is among the most awaited Malayalam films of the year and is set for massive release. The movie stars Mohanlal in the leading role with Mukesh, Ragini Nandwani, Vijay Babu, and Aju Varghese play the supporting parts.
The movie has been written and directed by Arun Vaidyanathan and has been produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas.
The story is more like a political satire that has been set and shot exclusively in US. The trailer of the movie released to a massive response, mainly because of Mohanlal who remains the Numero Uno down south.
The screen count of “Peruchazhi” is highest ever for a Malayalam movie, reported to be close to 500 worldwide.
The movie has being distributed by Friday Tickets for the state of Kerala. The distribution of the movie in other parts of India has been gained by Fox Star Studios. Friday Tickets will be in charge of distribution in US.
“Peruchazhi” will also release in the Middle East on September 4, 2014.
The Central Board of Film Certification has given a ‘U’ certificate to the movie.
Given the screen count, the 1st day collections of “Peruchazhi” should be good enough, given that it released to multiple good reviews! Mohanlal’s presence is sure to give the movie a good run in weeks to come.
