A new video starring Bollywood star Alia Bhatt and titled “Genius of the Year” has gone viral! The video, which was launched by All India Bakchod on August 24, 2014, has got over 2.5 hit million hits already.
The video is a smart take on the Alia Bhatt jokes that have been all over the internet in the last few months, after she appeared on “Koffee with Karan” and answered a wrong GK question. When asked about the president of India, Alia had replied with ‘Prithviraj Chauhan’.
Soon after, thousands of jokes talking of Alia’s dumbness started to trend on social media.
The new video titled “Genius of the Year” has Alia herself, who is taking the jokes on her seriously. The video shows her joining classes for IQ and how she transforms into a new person. At the end of the video, she is seen on Karan’s show again, where she answers all questions.
The video has been liked by one and all, given that the 22-year actress has actually taken the jokes on a lighter note. Shakun Batra of “Ek Main Aur Ek Tu” fame has directed the video.
What makes the video even more interesting is the presence of Alia’s family, so there is Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan and her sister Shaheen Bhatt. Sportingly, her contemporary Parineeti Chopra, co-star Arjun Kapoor and mentor Karan Johar are also part of the video.
