6-Feet Snake Bites Nicki Minaj ‘Anaconda’ Video Dancer

Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ music video dancer was bitten by a snake on stage and is admitted in a local hospital in Los Angeles, according to the Boston Herald.

The incident happened on Friday, August 22, 2014, when the crew was rehearsing for their upcoming VMA performance of new single, ‘Anaconda.’

Though the dancer’s name is unknown, she was immediately taken to the hospital where she is being examined and is undergoing medical treatment.

As per the Los Angeles Fire Department, the snake that bit the dancer was a boa constrictor. Nicki Minaj was already climbing up the charts with the teaser video that was put on to Youtube of her new video.

Though the snake that bit her was non-venomous, reptiles can still turn out to be dangerous and cause certain bacterial infections.

The snake was also a fellow performer but after the mishap it is not certain whether the snake will be featuring in the upcoming Sunday performance at the MTV’s Music Video Awards. These awards shall be broadcasted live at 9/8c ET.

Though Minaj will not be the first lady to perform on stage with a snake, that is only if they plan to use the snake in their performance.

Britney Spears in 2001 has also done a similar act. Nicki now has an even more eager audience waiting to see her performance as well as the video. After the roaring controversies it also becomes a must.

Anaconda is Nicki’s second single from her upcoming album ‘The Pinkprint’, which still does not have a release date.

We hope that her dancer recovers soon and is able to be a part of the performance.
