Keeping a close look at the game-loving genre, Xolo has launched its first smartphone for the genre named “Xolo Play 8X-1200”. The phone has been priced in India for Rs. 19,999.
Running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS, Play 8X-1200 comes loaded with 2.0GHz true octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
Xolo has designed Play 8X-1200 with a 5-inch full HD OGS display for best gaming experience with 441 ppi.
Other features include 13MP rear camera, which comes with dual flash and PureCel Sensor.
The camera also has a number of other features like Scene detection & tuning, Face recognition, High Dynamic Range, Panorama capture, Low Light enhancement and Geo tagging.
The new smartphones comes loaded with 32GB internal storage capacity. Connectivity options for Play 8X-1200 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, 3G, and Bluetooth 4.0.
The phone runs on 2300 mAh battery, capable for delivering 11.7 hours talking time on the 3G mode, according to the company.
Xolo released a media note, which said, “Targeted at hard core mobile gamers, XOLO Play 8X-1200 delivers outstanding performance and exceptional visual content.
With this new device, users can experience a console like gaming experience coupled with speed, power and performance.”
Xolo had earlier introduced 8X-1000 earlier before this new model, which was designed with custom ‘Hive UI’. Xolo Play 8X-1200 has been priced at Rs. 13,999 and features a 5-inch display (resolution-1280 x 720p, ppi-294), 8MP rear camera coupled with Exmor R Sensor, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 2MP front-facing camera.
