Audi launches it’s new model A3 Sedan, starting price at Rs 22.95 lakh in India
Good news for Audi lovers. The Germany luxury car maker launched its new Sedan A3 car, which is priced between Rs 22.95 lakh and Rs 32.66 lakh.
The company is trying to expand its leadership in India by introducing this model in the country. It is also aiming to target the new segment of the compact luxury sedan besides tapping the usual buyers.
Joe King, head of Audi India said that the Sedan A3 model is the right product for self-driven, young consumers in the urban environment.
Besides, the car is also made for those who are looking to buy another Audi model with new facilities. The company is expected to get 15 percent of sales from this model. Check out the complete specifications and photos on Audi website here.
He also added that the A3 is expected to join the compact SUV Q3, Sedans A4 and A6 as the company’s growth drivers in India.
The A3 is available to the consumers in both petrol and diesel variants.
On the sales growth of the new model, King said that the industry growth was flat during the first half of the year, but the sales are expected to pick up in the second half.
For Audi, the company is expect a growth rate of double digit.
The A3 is the first model which is going to be locally produced before being launched in India. The company has started the local production of the model from VW group firm Skoda’s Aurangabad plant.
